What is EDC or Early Childhood Dance?
The Studio’s Early Childhood Dance Program is a series of movement classes designed to introduce children to the creative and expressive world of dance.
Each of our 4 stages of the program offer children the opportunity to develop their natural movement ability in a multi-sensory environment.
Music, movement, visuals, and props will enhance your dancer’s love of the art form and the unique conceptual approach to dance education will provide a strong foundation for technical and
cognitive growth.
Grown Up & Me Classes
Ages 18 months & up
Stage 1 EDC
Designed for our youngest dancers to start moving their bodies in a classroom environment but with the security of mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, auntie, uncle, nanny, or friend! Our class follows a consistent set of songs so dancers get familiar with a routine. We use lots of toddler friendly toys as props for our songs.
Two-ly Independent
Ages 2 (actual)-3
Stage 2 ECD
This class is designed for two year olds who truly are comfortable finding independence. We follow a consistent set of songs so dancers become familiar with routine while adding a slight bit more structure to the class than that of Grown-up & me.
