A letter from The Sarosik Family

Hello Shining Stars,

 

We wanted to let you all know that the sale of the studio has been finalized. Ashley Smith will continue to bring the joy and love of dance to our community for many years to come. She has our complete and total support. We are incredibly grateful that Ashley will continue to ensure that the kids in our community have dance in their lives. We believe that this is completely in line with what Marcia would have wanted. Miss Marcia dedicated her life to sharing her love of dance. She instilled that love in all of us and especially in Ashley. We take great comfort in knowing that the studio which meant so much to her is in the best possible hands. She and Ashley had an incredibly special relationship and we know she greatly admired Ashley as a teacher and choreographer. We know that it would have meant so much to her that Ashley also plans on continuing the scholarship program through the Shining Stars. If you had an outstanding balance at the end of this dance year we would encourage you to make a donation to that nonprofit in lieu of trying to send us a personal check. We believe it is far more important that our kids continue to get the opportunity to dance. 

 

We look forward to seeing all of the new and wonderful things that Ashley is going to bring to this new journey called The Studio. It would definitely be an understatement to say that Miss Marcia’s passing has been difficult for us all. We miss all the joy and love she brought to the world and especially our family. Thank you for all of the love and support this amazing community has shown us.
